In the latter category, virtually all California trial courts with a web presence can be accessed, along with their local court rules. Very useful, particularly if you are about to work in a jurisdiction unfamiliar to you.

Download and print out all IRS forms and most of their publications. Need to request a copy of a client’s old tax returns? Form 4506 (and the client’s signature) will get it for you. Form 8332 is the Release of Claim of Exemption form we use with most family support awards.

The California State Senate’s excellent search engine to locate pending legislation (or bills from past sessions) by bill number, author OR keyword. You can view and download committee reports, bill history, etc. and can “subscribe” to a bill, thus getting email notice of all actions as they occur.
